A Teacher's Holiday Calendar: Daily tasks, challenges, and inspiration

Yesterday, I made a playful Tik Tok post about "crawling" my way to Thanksgiving and joked about doing the same for Christmas break. Although the post was lighthearted, it left me feeling somewhat dispirited upon reflection.

November and December are supposed to be joyous months, filled with festivities and merriment. We should be relishing the hustle and bustle, enjoying walks in the snow, taking in the holiday lights, and indulging in seasonal cocktails. However, as a teacher, it can be challenging to find the time and energy to focus on our own well-being during this hectic period. Our days are spent catering to the needs of our students, leaving little time for ourselves.

That's why I created a calendar for this season that urges all of us, whether we're teachers or working professionals, to make time for ourselves and celebrate the season in our own way.
